Christmas Event Photography 2012 – check out my Animoto Video of Orange UK’s Christmas party

Its been an honor to be asked to work with the guys at Orange UK, and when the call came from Laurel Blower this year to be their Event Photographer for the second year running I was delighted.

This year saw one very large Christmas Party held on the 10th of December 2012 at the The Brewery, Chiswell Street, London EC1Y 4SD www.thebrewery.co.uk

The Party theame for this year was “The Fairytale of New York” saw the Brewery transformed in to the The Clandestine Club from yester year.

Event Photography – Exeter Deaf Old Pupils Association 50th Anniversary

This event was held at the Sandy Park Conference Centre in Exeter – home of the Exeter Chiefs, this is a large venue so well able to cater for the 350 guests at the event. There was a lively atmosphere through out the drinks reception, dinner and award ceremony.

As well as providing general photo coverage of the event I also set up a portrait studio enabling formal pictures of the the guests – this was very popular at this event particularly as many of the guest has come along way and wanted group photographs of friends from their time at school, along with formal photo’s of their wife or partner.

I split my time between the event photography and the portraits which actually worked really due to the format of the evening. While the guests were having their meal I concentrated on group table shots which meant that most of the guests where ‘caught on camera’ which is what the event organisers had wanted.

I like to try and get my customers to have fun while taking photos, from wiggling your hips to telling a joke, it all helps to get the all important shot of my customers having fun.
